Using ratios

You can set keyframe and inbetween changes in part or all of one column (the ratioed column) to be calculated as a ratio of the changes in another column (the source column). There are many possible uses for this, including:

• Making one character follow another at a fixed distance.

• Tracking a character with the camera.

• Creating a crowd that moves together.

• Tracking one character with the camera, then holding the camera position until another character comes into shot, then tracking that character.
